Joanna has been working with certified nurse-midwife, Chris Just, RN, MSN, to produce a digital foetal-development book for expectant parents.
The guide is being developed for iPad, Android and Kindle and it illustrates every fascinating anatomical detail of the foetal journey from fertilized egg to full-term baby.
The highly detailed, colour-rich images are designed to complement Chris’ extensive antenatal knowledge and maternity care experience. The result is a sophisticated, educational e-book that is engaging and beautiful to look at.

IMI Gold Award For The Student’s Anatomy of Stretching Manual (Quid/Global Book Publishing Ltd)
The manual is a collection of 50 stretches, aimed at health and fitness trainers and sports science students. It illustrates how to work all of the major muscle groups in order to devise an effective and appropriate stretching routine. After creating the initial 50 sketches in pencil, Joanna illustrated every stretch in full colour to highlight not only how to perform the stretch correctly but also to see which muscles benefit the most from the specific stretch. All of the illustrations were approved by Chief Consultant, Ken Ashwell , Professor of Anatomy in the Department of Anatomy, School of Medical Sciences, Australia. Read the case study.
